Habitat for Humanity Sun Sept 9
Each year we participate with a group of churches to build a Habitat for Humanity house for a family that has qualified to receive a new home that they can purchase at very affordable cost. This year the house was on Cole Ave just east of the old Firestone tire complex and a mother and her children will be receiving the home.
We are taking a special offering on Sunday Sept 9 to help with the costs of the home. Pray about what God has given you and what God is asking you to pass on to a specific family who are making progress in having a better life. Consider if all that you have is YOUR'S or if God has given it to you to steward or pass on to a wider part of the world around you?
