| David Loar will not be at the Nervous Dog Coffee Bar Friday afternoon, Feb 12th. The 2nd in the Vision (sermon) series on Sunday, Feb 14 "Born From Above" - Too Many Questions. John 3:9-12. Ash Wednesday worship service, Feb 17 at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary. The labyrinth will be available for prayer walking in the Fellowship Hall 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Soup lunch for the congregation on Sunday, Feb 28 at 11 am in the Fellowship Hall. Donations will go to the AOK/Acts of Kindness Fund. Donations for Haiti earthquake relief can be made through our offering. These will be directed through Church World Service. Mark your offering for "Haiti." Also, we are collecting hygiene kits. Directions for the kits are available on the desk in the front lobby. And you can make donations for items to be purchased for hygiene kits through "Hearts for Haiti" in the front lobby. We host homeless families through Interfaith Hospitality Network on the evenings of the week of February 14th. We need people to help prepare dishes for supper on Sat the 20th, and to visit with the families from 6:30-8:30 pm. We are hosting the IHN "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" Fundraiser on Sun, Feb 28 beginning at 2:00 pm. The walk will be around the park in front of the school. We can use hosts to help with guiding people in the bldg, setting up in the Fellowship Hall, and serving refreshments. |
