The First Sunday after Christmas will be celebrated on December 27th. The service will be focused around Christmas carols led by the BASIC Band, the Fairlawn West house band. The service will be led by Julia Hines and Debbie Rhinesmith.
Our pastor, the Rev. David Loar, is on vacation until Dec. 31 in his family's annual Christmas vacation jaunt to his wife's family on the Cumberland Plateau outside of Crossville, TN. Our office is closed through Dec 30 while John Beck our office secretary is on vacation visiting his parents in Santa Fe, NM.

This Sunday Dec 13 is the 3rd Sunday of Advent and we will light the Advent candle of Love on the Advent wreath.
The prayer walking labyrinth will be available on the 13th 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Christmas Eve worship service is Thurs the 24th at 8:00 pm.

We are the host site for the annual community Messiah Sing this Saturday, December 12th at 7:00 pm in our sanctuary. The organizing group is the Akron Area Association of Churches.
The prayer labyrinth will be available in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, December 13th, 1-3 pm. This is a wonderful way to share a deepening spiritual experience in the Christian season of Advent. Walking the labyrinth will take 15 minutes to 1/2 hour.
