what's up

1. We are all focused around the ending of life on earth for one of our great spiritual leaders here at F-W, Nancy Fisher.

2. The new service "No Experience Necessary...for those burned out, turned off, and left behind" is developing quickly after only two weeks. First service focus was around the song "What If God Was One of Us" sung both by Joan Osborne and Alanis Morisette. The second service was around the new song "Change" by Tracy Chapman. The scripture for this service was from Romans 2. We've been using the Prayer of St. Francis as our communal prayer each time. We have been spending about 20 minutes each time in communcal conversation on the song and the scripture. Wonderful!

Prayer of St. Francis -
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.Where there is hatred, let me sow love;where there is injury, pardon;where there is doubt, faith;where there is despair, hope;where there is darkness, light;and where there is sadness, joy.O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seekto be consoled as to console;to be understood as to understand;to be loved as to love;for it is in giving that we receive;it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

3. We are actively raising money and supplies for hurrican relief.
