hosting IHN families week of Jan 6th
Fairlawn West United Church of Christ in Akron, Ohio will be hosting families through Interfaith Hospitality Network the week of January 6th. Every 9 weeks Fairlawn West hosts families who have lost their homes in one way or another. There will be anywhere from 1 to 4 families hosted in the Fairlawn West building. All the groups that use the building regular including 12 Step recovery meetings and jazzercize extend hospitality for these families.

Christmas Eve 2007
We are hosting a Christmas Eve worship service on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 7:00 pm. It will include scripture reading, Christmas carol, relfection on the story of the birth of Jesus, and candlelighting. It is a celebration and observation of the birth of the messiah and the coming again of our savior. Everyone is invited.
