| Wednesday evenings there is a gathering called "New Course." This is a time and place to learn and hopefully grow. The Course is now using the video series "Genesis: A Living Conversation" which is from the PBS tv series hosted by Bill Moyers. It goes through the stories of Genesis with conversation from a variety of biblical scholars, theologians, writers, artists and clergy. We meet in the Vista Room at 7:00 pm. We are hosting again this year the Interfaith Hospitality Network "Walk a Mile in My Shoes" on Sunday, February 28 at 2:00 pm. Pray for snow. We try to walk on a miserable weather day to be mindful of the conditions that homeless people would be in. We are seeking people to help be hosts, to be walkers, and to pledge for the walkers. Ash Wednesday worship service is February 17 at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary. |
